Consults to Raise Your Grief Literacy

What is a consult or mentorship session?

Mentorship and consults are 1:1 sessions for anyone looking to creatively explore, especially those helping professionals and/or lay persons, working in either paid or volunteer capacity, in fields like coaching, education, arts, hospice, nursing, therapy, funeral home services, chaplain, alternative medicine, group facilitators, social work, and more. I’m happy to work with you if your work or experiences are in regard to death-related OR non-death-related grief.

We explore the many ways your can raise your grief literacy and get unstuck to enhance your creative life, practice, professional and personal development skills.

Using experiential, creative, personal development techniques, we can find ways for you to:

  1. raise your grief literacy creatively
  2. be more present with your clients and community by tapping into your intuitive balance,
  3. avoid burnout by expanding self-care to include community and relationship,
  4. exercise your agency and resourcefulness,
  5. tap into innovative ideas and research that go beyond the limitations of “the stages of grief” and “closure,”
  6. enable a renewed curiosity,
  7. implement skills that allow you to ask better, more generative questions, and
  8. fuel your professional and personal growth.

Offered as 1:1 sessions, available regardless of geographic location, via Zoom or tele-conference.
Sessions are 60 minutes ~ $150/session (sliding scale available)
Alternative: eMail consults also available.

First Friday Happy Hour

Monthly Happy Hour for Death + Grief Workers
Free but registration required.
First Friday of each month at 1pm Pacific.

As Creative Grief Practitioners ourselves, we’ve been talking about how hard these pandemic years have hit us. We thought to maybe open a once-a-month, free range, space to clink coffee cups and check in with each other as humans. We don’t have a particular agenda for our meet ups. This is a very improv kind of vibe, holding space for whatever is alive in the moment for each of us. If there is an “aim” with our Happy Hours, it is to have us all feel support and connection even as we navigate the difficult stuff of our personal and professional lives! Bring your coffee or tea cup and join us on the First Friday of each month!
